About High School Articulation

High School Articulation is the process of developing a formal, written and published agreement that identifies a high school course as aligned to a specific course at the community college, meeting the objectives and rigor of the college course. Upon college faculty determination of alignment, a formal agreement called an Articulation Agreement is put into place.

Through the high school articulation process, students can earn college credit for articulated courses, saving money, time, and effort, enabling them to complete certificates or degrees more efficiently.

After completion of the articulated course and meeting agreement criteria, high school students become eligible to earn college credit through the "Credit by Examination for Articulated High School Course" process. (see "students" for more information).
